Our 100% reclaimed lobster rope garland is one-of-a-kind creation made in Maine. Add a touch of whimsy to your space, trim a tree or brighten your fireplace mantel all while reducing marine waste. We take 11" pieces of leftover 1/4"-1/2" diameter rope from making our other upcycled products and bond the ends into loops creating a chain. Then we connect 31 loops together to create a truly unique 9' vibrant garland. Our garland is extremely durable and is well suited for indoor and outdoor use. The color pattern is in a repeating rainbow arrangement and will be very similar to the example photos in this listing.

The retired rope comes from our local lobstering industry and has spent considerable time in the ocean. Due to its past life, there will be minor variations, signs of wear, fading, and a real "salty” character.

Care Instructions

All rope products can be safely cleaned with a hose or pressure washer.

Avoid using any chemicals on the rope. Most of the rope is made from polypropylene, a type of plastic, and will not bleed, stain or run. No dyes are used.

The upcycled rope is durable and can withstand the outdoor elements however prolonged and direct exposure to the UV light will cause fading.
